Has it's moments. Dance music peeked 2 or 3 years before this movie, and a lot of it was crap then. Much of the tunes in this feel like the stuff you play while waiting for things to kick off. Digweed sounds like he plays some good tracks though Never been a big dance fan, and not a fan of this culture, but this seemed to be a well rounded movie. Linklater (who plays David) is a poor mans Keanu Reeves in this. Check out Human Traffic instead though

The soundtrack is great, especially the last song, but the people could have been better looking. They weren't ugly by any means but in films one expects the average actor to be better looking than an actual average person. I second Shmendrek that I'm glad this subculture is dead.

I'm so glad this subculture is fucking dead. I remember candy kids shitting themselves over this flick back in high school. They eventually talked me into seeing it. Underwhelming as expected.

Not having been a part of rave culture, i felt this was a fun look at some of the difficulties, insecurities, & positive messages within the scene. The movie seems to avoid painting anyone as either savior or villain, & was even interesting & well paced. Plur.

The film is short,a little over 80 minutes, and about half of that is showcasing the DJs and dancers, which means Harrison really doesn't have much to say other than "raving is cool". In short, this is a film for ravers only.
