Guadalcanal Diary (1943) is a solid war movie. Not going to rank among the best, but with it's selected cast and decent dose of action, it's a nicely blended battle movie reacting the bloody clash with the Japanese on Solomon Islands in 1942. Simple a enjoyable experience with it's characters and action.
