The idea of it is fun but it lacked the style and characters to reach its potential. Oh and the script is also awful.

"We can do shitty expensive movie too!" they thought. Well... they were right.

The russians seem to get the hang of making shitty movies now, too.

Brainless? Maybe, but not that much more than Avengers and the like. Decent CGI with a shoestring budget and great pacing. Entertaining.

Terrible movie made by amateurs. Everyone poses all the time, non stop monologues where everyone takes turns talking and it given a line in every scene. Bad CGI with worse Green Screen effects with a overly dramatic score blasting in the background.

Pacing, sound mixing, and acting issues. 25 points for Bearman

I enjoyed it.

Trying to cash in on Marvel's success, here is a Russian made superhero movie that looks like a great facsimile of "The Avengers", only if the people trying to copy it only spoke Russian and didn't have a Russian copy. It's pure spectacle, empty and generic. But now, with somewhere around two dozen Marvel movies to pick from, there's no real reason to watch this crappy rip off except for nationalism at the cost of quality.

The trailer was good but that's about it.

For all the complaints contemporaries have with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you can't deny that there was some effort put into it to build the world all the superheroes inhabit. It's the reason why pretenders fail. In the case of this Russian film, a pretty novel concept falls apart because, I guess, the director saw all those movies and thought "I can do that!" and convinced people with money to fund it and it turns out, no, you can't. The tryhard attitude is its charm, and its failure.

CGI action is great. Best parts are when nobody talks. And there is just little talking. Script, dialogs, this is awfull, but I just need big action, big explosions, slow mo takes, and there I got it. Just brainless action fun.

It's very much a connect-the-dots superhero movie but there's never any connection between the dots to make the picture feel fully developed. Now, it can still be a ton of over the top fun and unintentionally hilarious with the use of the "were-bear". Lotta really entertaining scenes but an overall undeveloped, unengaging story and characters.
