There's no story, and it consists of a guy in a samurai helmet slowly dismembering a drugged and bound woman until she's just bloody chunks. The gore effects are very, very good, especially for the time this was made. There's really nothing here but the gore, so stay away unless that's your thing.

Nice gore effects. But this is not a proper movie, so I couldn't rate this properly aswell.

Talk about an acquired taste, perhaps this film could provide to be therapeutic for some -- to normal people out there, it may just sicken them. As for myself, I was impressed with the effects, the nihilistic undertone achieved through minimalism, the slight artistic edge (changing lights, Haiku poems, samurai helmets and geisha make-up). Although the act of Slow Death: The Dismemberment can burn quickly through its excitement and become slightly tedious, at least this film knows how long to run

Guinea Pig 2 features a serial killer waxing poetic about making blood flowers out of a drugged up female abductee. He really enjoys himself. This reminded me a little of Grotesque (2009). Inspiration, perhaps? It was also like watching one of the "tourists" in Hostel getting their nuts off doing what they do.

Think "Niku Daruma" with less porn and more 80s SFX and kabutos. It was never going to live up to its reputation, especially after seeing the aforementioned film, but it didn't exactly disappoint and did a serviceable job pleasing the gorehound in me.

Pretty successfully attempts to reveal the poetic quality of a slow murder, especially during the beautiful finale.

The gore looks realistic enough, but the killer and the audio seem fake, giving the film a strange vibe.

Excellent - but not perfect - makeup effects. Beyond that, though, pretty much what you'd expect from a fake snuff film: no plot, no characters, no dialogue, nothing of any artistic merit whatsoever. Only capable of providing entertainment by showing it to a few squeamish friends for a laugh, or if you're a budding effects person.

As a fake snuff movie, it's more consistent than 'Devil's Experiment'. The effects are better, even though still not great. There is yet again no real plot, which adds to the underground filmmaking shtick, but stops the movie from being more than random dismemberment.

Not for the faint hearted,I have heard that Charlie Sheen was at a hollywood party and seen this film shown there he called the police and fbi thinking the film was a real snuff movie. The effects are very realistic, this ones for the hardcore gore fans.

90 points for the very very good splatter effects... not a good story but some kind of ( disturbing ) art. The best Guinea Pig Part

Absent of any plot, character development or narrative structure, this film plays out like a special effects demonstration reel. And what a demonstration it is! These are perhaps the most convincing gore effects I've ever seen. They're nearly flawless, and I can understand why someone may watch this and mistake it for an authentic snuff film. Due to its total lack of context, it's actually not very disturbing... unless you're sensitive to gore, in which case this will be nightmare-inducing.

Aestheticized, almost ritualistic dismemberment of a live but anesthetized victim. That's about it. But there is something to like here. They went in a different direction than the first Guinea Pig movie and forfeited the element of anguish that made the first hard to watch, but there is another form of horror here that maybe works a bit better. It's almost subtly comical in its extravagance, but for the most part does not compromise realism. The effects are awesome and the pacing is good.

I will give it 50 because of the good effects that are made without the digital animation of today. Making a real judgment of these films would be unfare as they are not really movie-movies.
