Gunsight Ridge

If this had focused more on Mark Stevens' character, I would have scored it much higher. He plays the bad guy, but unlike most Western bad guys, he's portrayed with some sympathy and the scenes with him at the piano (and with Carolyn Craig the farm girl) have a lovely sense of pathos about them. Unfortunately the scenes with Joel McCrea are the exact opposite and the stuff with the Lazy Heart gang seemed pointless and unnecessary.
