Hair-Raising Hare

unfortunately bugs is more consistently happy than me even when being chased by a murderer.

Gossamer maks for a surprisingly effective antagonist-cum-foil. I loved the breaking of the fourth wall and the use of Peter Lorre as a villain (even if the animators could have done more with him). This short definitely outshines the later Water, Water Every Hare.

Cheap silly jokes but I was amused and I liked the monster.

One of the classics and sticks out in memory amongst the hundreds of others I have seen.

A hairy monster with sneakers, an evil scientist designed to look like Peter Lorre and Bugs trying to rescue himself while making fun of both of them. Good stuff.

Bugs: "That's the trouble with some dames. Kiss 'em and they fly apart!"

Bugs Bunny shattering the 4th wall like a boss.

Needs more Lorre!

"is there a doctor in the house?.I'm a doctor..eh what's up doc"

Gossamer's debut! And some of the best Bugs lines.

"Just LOOK at those fingernails!" Again, corny, but wildly funny and widely parodied....for good reason.

Everything good about this cartoon was improved tenfold in "Water, Water Every Hare"

This was always one of my favorites as a kid.
