I don't think I can call something a tone poem with a straight face, but this film is certainly more of a general expression of the author's rage at Covid, the Tokyo Olympics and the state of modern Japan than it is a coherent story, but that's okay I think? The soundtrack is great and especially the closing song fucking slaps.
