Drawing from Alan Light’s 2013 book The Holy or the Broken: Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley, and the Unlikely Ascent of "Hallelujah," Daniel Geller and Danya Goldfine’s graceful, briskly paced film traces seemingly every step of the “Hallelujah” journey, using it to reflect on Cohen’s life and career by talking to those who knew him and the artists he inspired

Leonard Cohen'in Hallelujah eserinin yapılma hikayesi. Yavaş adamın yavaş belgeseli olur. Senle ben hep böyle kalacağız. Gitgide eriyip yok olacağız.

While the concept is interesting and the archival footage of Cohen's performances is charming, the execution of the film is dull and uninspired. Despite occasional glimmers of more captivating content, the film ultimately fails to deliver a compelling and thought-provoking exploration of Cohen's life and his most famous song.

There is something sacred about L. Cohen and his music, and it's my opinion that one should not really cover him, especially "Hallelujah".
