Fox's contribution to the string of all-star musical reviews that every studio put out in 1929-30. They bring in all the stars they have in their stable for a mostly awful musical show. Very rough comical numbers and only a couple of musical numbers toward the end that really saved this from total disaster. This was even worse then Warner Bros' The Show of Shows (1929), which at least had some of that "so bad it's good" vibe going for it. Happy Days however just looks like amateur hour.
