Happy Ever Afters

A convoluted, pretentious and superficial story, and a mostly unconvincing plot. A paltry few good scenes. Characters are badly written and not very engaging. A few entertaining moments, but overall it was not very satisfying. I normally love Sally Hawkins, but her role, and others, were very poorly written. Some characters were moronic and ridiculous, and many seemed more caricature than real. Sometimes moderately funny, but nothing to laugh out loud about. A few confusing accent moments also.

Insufferable! It's like the worst possible imaginable knock-off of Bride Wars which wasn't that great a movie to start with.
