Happy Hunting

We all know the deadliest game is man, but what if drinking vodka, beer, Listerine, or ethanol brewed from rat poison in an abandoned state park ranger station could make that game harder, better, faster, and/or stronger? Well, then you'd have the makings of a morbidly fascinating romp through the desert with a guy who's probably not having the best of days (though, admittedly, he started in a shithole trailer with the water turned off, so that last part may be subject to interpretation).

Primeira parte do filme promete algo diferente. Mas a partir daí vira uma mediocridade só, especialmente nas incoerências do roteiro.

Watchable "The Purguish" movie.

Could be great a good addition to man hunting man genre but the amateur acting and directing ruins everything. Better watch Hard Target or Surviving The Game.

Doesnt break any molds, but still not too shabby, pretty tense.

Started out alright, and once the hunting party started things were looking good... then it lost it's mark and became just another wasted opportunity of blood and gore. The actual end was a laugh.

With a really solid first act, Happy Hunting takes Surviving the Game/Hard Target genre in the way of Jeremy Saulnier. Unfortunately, the direction is notably problematic and a crazed character in the final third derails the quiet desperation that was cleverly set up.
