This movie was funny when I was 13 years old. Now it just looks dorky

Perhaps the first major STAR WARS parody, and perhaps not the best, though it has a few chuckles ("No, just a little headache."). The gimmick here is the incredible cheapness of it all; the Millenium Falcon is an iron, Chewbacca is a Cookie Monster dyed brown, the Death Star is a waffle iron, etc. A parody trailer, it tosses out jokes left and right, and truth to tell, it doesn't hold up to repeat viewings THAT well (and some of the actors seem kind of indifferent), but it has a certain spirit.

Looks decent for a cheap parody, but in a minor oversight they forgot to make it funny. Would be much improved with an interweb overdub.

It was the first, and in my opinion is still the best Star Wars parody. Sure it's cheesy and poorly directed; WHO CARES! It's was damn funny especially at the time. Wookie Monster! Planet Basketball! "No, it's just a little headache" Try to find a copy and go watch it.
