On of the two very favorites of mine, along with The Go-Getter. Beautiful masterpiece: the acting, the filming, the atmopshere. Everything about this film is just perfect, I love it so much I shiver every time I think of it (in a good way). It is a story of true love and courage to pursue happiness that many of us lack.

Overly mature child-actors usually are annoying; here that's done on purpose in dialogue and narration, but it doesn't add much value to an unengaging story.
