Have Rocket, Will Travel was the first feature film to star the Three Stooges after their 1959 resurgence in popularity. By this time, the trio consisted of Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Joe DeRita. Released by Columbia Pictures, Have Rocket, Will Travel is reminiscent of Abbott and Costello Go to Mars (1953). In the Stooge comedy, the boys are portrayed as janitors who accidentally blast off to Venus and encounter a mysterious alien. (imdb)

I was under the impression that The Three Stooges were supposed to be funny, but this was just sad. I'd take Laurel and Hardy over these three failures any day. In fact, this movie was so bad that I didn't even come close to smiling at a single joke, and the acting/story was simply appalling.

The stooges are good in small doses such as they're shorts. Larry and Moe are old here and Curly-Joe is average. There are a couple of chuckles but really nothing to watch the movie for.
