The career of dance instructor Sally (Jean Parker) comes to an abrupt end when she is crippled in an accident on the eve of her wedding. Sally's far-from-supportive fiance (Paul Page) walks out on her, but good old Jimmie (James Dunn), who has loved her all along, offers to marry her and help shoulder the burden of her handicap. This in itself would make a good story, but MGM got nervous an added a gangster subplot. (allmovie.com)

Jean Parker is a dance instructor who is engaged and happy when she falls and cripples herself. The lover runs off and she is depressed unable to do what she loves when ice cream salesman James Dunn spots her in a window and falls in love with her. Looking past the cowardice of not touching on the handicap issue, it's a nice romance picture where Dunn is very likable and Parker is sweet as can be. Add Una Merkel & Stuart Erwin helping lot in making it a gentle and fun film.
