Third act is pretty clever (almost feels like an extremely low-key variation on a certain Japanese zombie movie), even if it kinda feels like a last-ditch effort to make feature-length

A film that is probably a little too slight and ephemeral in its first half to really get anyone invested in its characters, which is a shame because it would have made an even better contrast once it effectively pulls the rug from under the audience in its second half.
