Embarrassing. David Keith tries hard, but he is so NOT Elvis. Also this suffers badly from wish-fulfillment-overkill like no other movie I have ever seen. Watch this and you won't want to see any mainstream film again for at least a month

For the most part this is a risible, deeply sentimental fantasy, though there are a few relishable comic moments, including a parody of early rock movies, a German accordion band serenading Elvis, and his redecoration of the hotel in the style of Graceland.
