Heatwave

I can see how some people may like this, and maybe I'd like it if I rewatch it, but a thriller about an eminent housing demolition doesn't exactly yield much excitement, even when this film has to desperately make the behind-doors dealings seem criminal on a gangster level. It's still a rather well-handled film that really puts some thrilling moments on display in its last act, with a particularly haunting ending.
