Heaven's Burning

Interesting Aussie road-movie which is probably most famous for its early Russel Crowe performance - and he IS convincing from the start as the strong silent type. The story involves a Japanese woman on the run from her (also Japanese husband). That fish out of water -aspect gives the film an interesting clash of cultures, but the script could have used some work, as its portrayal is cliched. It also goes overboard with the sudden bursts of violence, which become a bit silly due to repetition.
