The original went with the 'less is more' approach. The sequel turns this around and throws everything your way, including backstories and explanations that aren't necessary. The editing and acting are messy.

Shows way too much to make it very effective. The first one nailed the vibe and for this one the decide to do the opposite for some reason? Just feels unnecessary.

Spooky enough but doesn’t come close to have having the payoff the first one does especially since it’s basically the same set up but has a less interesting build.

My intention was to see the whole thing but for any reason, I stopped at ten minutes before the end feeling no guilt about it. Stupid ending, by the way. The rest is just like the previous one and more cohesive if we talk about found footage, fake documentary.

Hmm, it's called Hell House and there was an unexplained mystery death incident where 15 people died and you want to go in? Let me off at the Sizzler across the street. You can only have a door open spookily or have people in cloaks so many times before it gets silly. They're getting bored quick have a guy stand in the corner AND open a drawer.
