Her First Romance (1940) is a alright romance film from Monogram. They snatch up musical stage actor Wilbur Evans for his only Hollywood lead, and he's delivers well for such a production. Surprised he didn't do more movies. The story centers around former child actress Edith Fellows, now 17 and old enough to do romance flicks with men over twice her age. She is the sweetness this story relies on while Evans does his operatic singing in between the sibling rivalries. Perfectly watchable.
