Herbie: Fully Loaded

I know I saw this movie even though I don't remember seeing this movie. It's like lost time after an alien abduction. They'll ask me where I was from 7 to 9 PM on some date, and I'll say I don't know, and they'll tell me I was watching Herbie: Fully Loaded. And then I'll look up the film and ask where the other 19 minutes went, as it's only 101 minutes long. And finally, the two agents will look at each other, and then me, and simply shrug. They just don't know, and no one ever will.

The lack of creativity to make movies, sometimes surprises me. Another herbie movie, was not really necessary. The scenes are so silly, the humor so childish, which is annoying.

Amiable and enjoyable kiddie oriented movie will likely work better proportionate to your affection for Lohan Prime, but she keeps the film on a likable, even keel, backed by a fine supporting cast in Keaton, Long and Dillon, none of whom are asked to do a great deal, but who all help by resisting the urge to go full pantomime. Well crafted stunt driving sequences (augmented by iffy CGI) are a lot of fun, and the film ultimately emerges and leaves as frothy, silly entertainment.

Lindsay Lohan was such a talent and she made this movie. Made me so sad to see her spiral downward to what we see today. This goofy movie is very fun and enjoyable almost entirely because of her. I'll always love her.

Very silly movie that continues the goofy Herbie premise. None of the performances particularly stood out, except Justin Long was somewhat charismatic and Lindsay Lohan was cute. Michael Keaton was mostly wasted. Matt Dillon basically spent his screen time being arrogant, which is probably not much of a stretch for him. The writing was very boring and lacked imagination. Silly fun for children, but barely tolerable for adults.

Disneys trying to revive a long-slumbering franchise with their latest kid-targeted comedy, Herbie Fully Loaded. The adorable Volkswagen Bug that captured the imagination of audiences during the 60s and 70s tries hard to drive its way into the hearts of a new generation of fans. And, for the most part, it succeeds.

Everything seems to work out fine in this movie, but not very interesting.

Lohan is terrible and fine at acting Herbie Fully Loaded isn't nearly as good as the classic's (The Love Bug).

I guess Lindsay Lohan won't show her boobs here either :/ Still better than I expected.

You might ask yourself "Why is this film called Herbie FULLY LOADED?" The answer is Keaton.

same old same old, another flop by lindsay. but i gotta say, i kinda liked the concept but the movie was just... too normal.

There is nothing original or inspired about this film. The plot is predictable, the villain is one-dimensional, the human romance is cookie-cutter, the intercar romance is creepy. And even though it's live-action, Disney managed to kill off the mom.

Surprisingly, not a steaming pile of crap. It IS a kids movie and is Disney related, and if you take that into consideration, it's not too shabby, really. I'd rather watch this than "Napolean Dynamite."

A cute, harmless, Lohan flick. Herbie goes NASCAR. Definately worth seeing. Nice to see Herbie in CGI. Score one for the kids, I enjoyed this in the theater.

Cute remake

I rather enjoyed this movie. The weird sexual chemistry between Matt Dillon and L.Lo. put a cool new spin on their hero/villain relationship. Plus the mechanic guy was pretty cute. And wasn't there a car possessed by the devil in it, too?

While the parts involving Herbie are generally fine, the magic that made the originals so enjoyable seems to have been lost somewhaere in the update. The attempt to turn the series into a movie seemingly aimed at early teenagers was also a failure, leaving it perched between two audiences. Although there are some decent parts, the inclusion of Lohan as a lead sucks away all credibility and makes the whole thing look like a complete joke. It certainly had potential, but never exploited it.
