Here Comes the Devil

pretty intense. probably wont be for everyone as it is pretty sexual and comes close to crossing a few lines. It felt smart though for such a filthy movie.

Not bad. This could have gone in a few different directions and, I think, they took it in one of the more interesting ones.

Mostly unwatchable

Top badass moment? A bickering but otherwise very typical couple, on finding a guy they think killed their kids, immediately decide to go and torture/kill him themselves; as you do. And even worse, their Volvo had a totally broken light cluster at the back too. I guess things are different in Spain. A decent film spoilt by WTF out of character behaviour, an often rubbish script and trying to be too many things at the same time. File under Brexit. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

Ended just as it was getting really interesting. Heavy atmosphere, a gritty '70s vibe, and possession. Ticks all the boxes, but ejects just as it's taking flight.
