The film intended to portray the phenomenon of disadvantaged and disillusioned youth in present-day Spain, and therefore covered themes like unemployment, money, relationships and starting a family. It was not all easy to watch. In spite of their economic troubles, the couple's love for each other was at times optimistic and inspiring, but also came with a bitter aftertaste. The avantgarde section showing life go by via the kids' phone screens was something I would rather never see again.

This film looks for the lives of young people in a very harsh and deterministic economic crisis. Only option for them is to gain money through their "bare bodies", like in the time of slavery, which means that the inner logic of the economy is same since 10.000 BC. The parts where the audience directly surfs through the characters' mobile phones and the moving camera were contributors to directors' identification with the youth. A fresh gaze to an accustomed theme.
