Hero

The plot is impressively boring and awkwardly paced. The choreography was stellar in certain scenes but most of the film is awful attempts at humor and dry, ham-fisted drama. It also doesn't help that while the fight scenes have neat setups they're edited with a lot of pointless slow-mo and annoying quick cuts that make it headache inducing to follow. The fight scenes would probably impress me more with better directing, but as it stands, I'm not too big on this film.
