What an odd thing to see Bill Cosby in so early on - Walter Hill 70's crime material that supplies a few smirks while doling out some fairly dark material. Interesting to note this for its buddy cop formula (with private dicks in the role) that had to serve as inspiration for the next couple of decades in like-minded flicks. I don't know who this Robert Culp guy is though, and he doesn't bring much to anything.

One of those TV movie-type action films that is inoffensive but didn't hold my attention with the plot between action scenes. Fav scenes: shootouts at the stadium and the beach.

Desculpe-me pessoas, por assistir filme com Bill Cosby, a Versátil me fez assistí-lo. E nem valeu a pena aturar o Cosby, porque o filme é completamente genérico. Box Versátil Cinema Policial Volume 3.

More of a curiosity: Cosby in a gritty crime film with a script by Walter Hill that seems to echo themes of his later films. Robert Culp co-stars and directs and perhaps the film might have improved with a more skilled director. The first 30mins feel quite random and while things pick up from there, scenes like the stadium stake/shoot-out could be studied as examples of how e.g. Hitchcock would never shoot or cut his scenes. Still, could be considered as a prototype for later buddy-cop films.
