a rather obscure sinatra musical that deserves much more recognition than it gets. it's a fairly entertaining movie with a decent plot line and no dissatisfying performances. the music here is the real kicker--not a single song is a let down, and sinatra's voice is tip top.

Underrated musical. With the teenager Marcy McGuire showing more energy, comedy and singing ability than the leading lady from the opening shot why was she not the greater star?
