Highlander: The Search for Vengeance

Overall, a decent movie, better than most of the Highlander sequels, and while I wouldn't say it's as great as some of Kawajiri's older films, it still captures the magic of his direction.

The best of the series, I know that doesn't say anything good necessarily but this flick is good.

I rank this as highly as the original. Which is not to say the original is perfect by any means of the imagination. But this film, even being animated, seems to match the raw power of the quickening, and it has more whit than many of the sequels combined.

Aw crap, Kawajiri used to be cool back in the 90s with Ninja Scroll and Vampire Hunter D, but this is just terrible. The animation is alright, but nothing special. The character design is abysmal, the story is redundant and the voice acting is flat.
