Hit the Ice

Abbott and Costello continue to entertain but the real standout here is a musical number called "The Slap Happy Polka", which manages to combine ice skating and spousal abuse.

"Pack that grip. Pack that grip!" I was crying tears of laughter. This is my first exposure to Ginny Simms, and to put it bluntly, I like what I see and hear.

Abbott & Costello taking pictures of bank robbers and hitting the slopes. That alone covers a lot of comic territory, and there's more! Costello falls in love! One can't help but love 'em for what they do, no matter how silly it is. Another satisfying one for the pair.
