What to feel about the Hitch Hike Lady (1935)? It's one of the earliest ambitious pieces they did over at Republic Pictures. They didn't spear much when it came to the cast! For such newly established B-studio they got a fine ensamble of characters for this piece of depression era feel-goodity! The plot might have been a little on the light side when it came to it's crazy ideas, but it clearly had good intentions, making Alison Skipworth's special journey to San Quinton a sweet one.
