Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard

It just seems right that Samuel L. Jackson and Selma Hayek should be the adoptive parents of Ryan Reynolds. I don't get the hate for this film, sure it's full of clichés, bad jokes and a ridiculous story line, but so was the first film, and who cares if it makes for a fun experience. I never thought I would see Antonio Banderas play a Greek oligarch! And more Selma Hayek is always a good thing. Whenever anyone mentions Capri, I will now respond, "Like the pants?" Now, to rewatch 'Overboard'.

I know it was meant to be this way, but this was much faster and louder than I expected. And I didn't really mean it in a good way.

I cringed so many times watching the movie even though I knew they were trying to be as cartoonish as possible.

The first half of the movie was a bit boring with horrible pacing, story, and characters. The jokes didn't really work. It felt really cheap as a movie. It throws everything overboard from the first film. After this, the pacing picks up, and the jokes become better. The later half of the movie gets really memey (cringey maybe?), and a few references to other movies are included in the gags. If you like this sort of humor, like me, then this one is probably watchable for you.
