Hitting the Apex

This is a strong documentary on motor racing, but also on the spirit of sports. The racers were profiled greatly in a limited time, considering there were 6 of them, and their ambitions and characters were made clear. All in all, as someone who has no interest in motor racing and has studied documentary, I enjoyed this greatly, a very well made documentary.

Hitting the Apex (2015) is basically a recap of what's happened in MotoGP after the fall of the dominant one, Valentino Rossi. The highlights of the competition is what drives this documentary. Not the original footage provided by the makers, Brad Pitt's bored narrative or the tired amount of motorcycle falls. It's simply the rivalry and the tragedies that the racers themselves deliver.
