Rod La Rocque goes to school. There is barely any hint that he's actually studying. Instead cocky La Rocque competes in sports and goes after the professors daughter. Got all the clichés for a school flick including the 'will he arrive in time to help his team win the big American Football match against Princeton' plot! But it's alright. La Rocque actually pulls it off rather well, and Tom Kennedy the stupid cop helps bring the smiles.
