Hold That Baby!

One film series that not only survived the franchise crack of 1949, but even survived television, was the Bowery Boys. Shit, they made movies until 1958! Must be the 1940s cinematic B-movie franchise that lasted the longest into the new era. Here the gang goes babysitting. All involved a inheritance scam and the Bowery Boys stumble their way through to saving the day. The comedy is a little simple, but having Ida Moore & Florence Auer as mad old dames certainly heightened the enjoyment.
