Robert Forster as a drunken bum/private dick in LA, with Joe Spinell as his bumbling sidekick. This could've been awesome, but instead we're treated to an endless barrage of atrocious jokes and banter, the flattest direction I've ever seen, plus two lengthy scenes of Forster wearing white leather shoes and doing the 80's white guy dance at a disco. Throw a constantly complaining teenager into the mix and you're left with an unwatchable mess. Thankfully, this is Forster's only directing credit.
