Hollywood Steps Out

I got most of the caricatures but I was never of fan of these shorts.

It helps a lot if you are an Old Hollywood Movies nerd to appreciate this

I couldn't see Chaplin! Was he eating at home alone that night?

A lot of the references to old Hollywood are entirely lost on me, but the art itself is good.

The caricatures seem a bit laborious and awkward in motion. It's sort of lost in time as well; I recognized Groucho and Harpo, the Stooges, Jimmy Stewart, Leopold Stokowski and Peter Lorre, but not really anyone else. (Although, was the unseen "Miss Rand" who I think it was?)

Good film.

Could've had more to it.
