Homage to Eadweard Muybridge

David Hanson edits together 11 separate photo series done between 1877 and 1885 by Eadweard Muybridge to make 11 short films. Most are of women moving: upstairs, downstairs, setting down a jug, picking up a shirt and a child, pouring from a jug, throwing a baseball, jumping from rock to rock, hoping on one foot, and sitting down. One is of a child carrying flowers to a woman. The clips run from three to seven seconds each.
