Poor script, poor scares, poor pacing, poor acting, poor gimmicks (title cards), poor camerawork, poor effects. This movie is all around really, really poorly made, and not in a so-bad-it's-good-way but in a boring poorly written and paced way. The only cool part was the dad and he was the only one who actually seemed to enjoy being in this movie. Took way too long to get going with no payoff. Avoid this stupid home movie. Wit.

Although I love found footage films, the way this is set up and shot is not something I'm too interested in. I mainly feel like there's a lot of build up with no explanation and an extremely underwhelming ending that was over and done with all too quickly. I also had a serious problem with the parent's ability to bounce back from all the weird shit their kids did as if it never happened at all.

Another entry in the "look ma, no me' handy cam style genre, this one shows footage of a couple, priest and a doctor, living in the woods with their 2 kids and the children start to exhibit disturbing behaviour. All the elements are there for a decent real-fi flick, but it never comes together. Not worth your time.

While watching this movie, I began to compile a list of why the father deserved to die. This man's children were driven mad by his awful facial hair and his terrible, terrible jokes. I would crucify cats too if this guy was my dad. Anything to stop him. ANYTHING.
