Keith Gordon is a creative young man who films the oddball doings of his family and peers. "The Maestro" appears frequently to give him pointers on his techniques. It's almost a film about a young man making the film. (imdb)

This film is insane! The only logical follow-up to De Palma's Hi, Mom! and Phantom of the Paradise, to be honest. Gerrit Graham goes all out as a crazy professor, Nancy Allen makes me fall in love with her once again (plus the scenes with bunny are hilarious) and I've never seen Kirk Douglas have so much fun in a film. This should have a proper DVD release.

"At once Brian De Palma's most slapdash and most autobiographical picture." - Fernando F. Croce

Weird. And so funny. :) With cool performances and a cool soundtrack. This movie is so outside of any convention that nothing's ever predictable. Maybe that's why you just can't turn it off, even though it's so....weird. :> And the Vertigo reference was so funny. And that rabbit...what the fuck?? :D:D:D
