Disney's worst animated movie. Everyone involved should be embarassed. Yeah, even you, Roseanne.

(2014-15 Disneython #39:) The ranch is called "Patch of Heaven," yet it is apparently a place where you have to hear Roseanne Barr's voice all day. Either change the name or get rid of that cow, because you can't have both.

I love Roseanne, so I was hoping to like this movie. But it's about cows and doesn't make very much sense.

Disney had struggled with its animated features being hit-or-miss in the 5 years before this. This one put the nail in the coffin for Disney's 2-d animation... not because there's anything wrong with 2-d animation, mind you, but because Michael Eisner blamed that as the reason this film fails. Uh, no. This fails because it has silly songs, no deeply moving plot, and it caters to young kids only... no broader audience. Skip it.

Showing all the symptoms of Disney's post-90's funk (a ludicrous premise and cringe-worthy attempts at anachronistic humor to name a couple), "Home on the Range" signaled a new low for the House of Mouse.

It's amazing how little you're capable of remembering anything about this movie mere hours after you watch it. Even the extraordinary talents of Alan Menken are completely wasted on Home on the Range.

Simultaneously dull and noisy animated feature for kids feels like the last of the air leaving Disney’s “traditional” animation department; this lacks any sense of plotting or even basic coherency, leaving the reasonably well-stocked cast to try and pick things up – the novelty of Barr and Dench swapping barbs gives this some value as a curio; likewise Buscemi’s very distinctive face amusingly transposed to his character is something of a highlight.

The animation and characters are just ok. A few crass jokes that don't land. Not a great effort from disney

Cute animation style and a few nice jokes, but overall very unexceptional.

This won't make the Disney greats Moo-ve over but it isn't a steaming cow pie. The greatest tragedy of the film is that there are no memorable songs and honestly I didn't love the three main cow characters. The side characters like the jackrabbit...

As the only remaining farm in the whole state they embarked on a massive forced expansion project and became a monopoly. The rules of capitalism dictated that eventually it abused its position by continually raising its prices with ever worsening farm conditions due to their overwhelming lobbying power. There were no more songs sung.

This was on the whole a sad "final entry" to the 2-d canon of Disney.

"There is a noticeable stench in the air when the movie makes a reference to Billy Bob Thornton's performance in Sling Blade. It's stale ink." - Joe McGovern

The last dying gasps of Disney's run on classic cartoons, before Pixar took over for several years. Nothing really good or noteable about it, the humor is rather bad and the film as a whole feels bland.

It was very lighthearted and had some occasional bits of derp and it's fair share of bad puns. However, it was very entertaining all through out and most of the humor hits its mark. The visuals are pretty good too. I like the film a lot.
