En route to a show in Singapore, a troupe of beautiful dancers are stranded on a deserted island by a plane crash. Their routine of skinny-dipping and devising new skimpy outfits is interrupted when a radioactive spider bites their manager and turns him into a wild-eyed, furry-faced monster with three fangs and a passion for strangling. The few scenes that were in enough focus for me to make out were terrible. The one saving grace was this line, "There's no reason to assume the worst yet. Now all we know is the plane caught fire and we've lost radio contact."

Definitely one of those movies that has a plot but it's almost unimportant for much of the film as it makes way for flirting and human couplings. The spider creature is... just stupid.

An irresistibly cheesy German-Yugoslavian concoction. It takes a while for this thing to get going, but once it does, it rivals the unintended hilarity of the best of Ed Wood. There's papier-mache makeup and a brief skinny-dipping scene that was quite daring for the time.
