Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation

Oh boy we now get to watch a cartoon Adam Sandler on vacation with his friends. There is both Gangnam Style AND the Macarena.

Blah-blah-blah. (This is a very funny review in case it's not obvious).

The first one was a 70, second a 60, this on was a stupid 20.

Fairly harmless kids movie with little to offer for adults and a generally benign, uplifting message about family or something.

While still not being as good as the first one I prefer Hotel Transilvania 3 over 2. Even though the plot is fairly predictable, it's charming and quite funny.

Blablablaablaa blaa bla blaa.

Much like the others, it's a collection of gags. They land more often than not, thankfully.

I've seen bits, pieces, chunks of this multiple times but this is my first full viewing. Gotta say I'm surprised there's so many glum reviews. This is fun, funny, goes down easy and finishes on dubstep Kraken trying to kill everyone. It's just so pleasant, and even after seeing some jokes more than once I'm still laughing at them, even (and especially) the "garlic intolerant" vampire fart joke.

Good to see the power of the MACARENA still live on, so DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY and feel the GOOD VIBRATIONS of Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018), because that's all it's about. A pure gag-fest!

A delightful first half keeps the franchise afloat. Bring on Hotel Transylvania: Christmas Vacation.

My first foray into the Hotel Transylvania franchise. Both Adam Sandler and Jim Gaffigan use their most annoying voices. It really starts grating a few minutes in. The rest of the movie isn't much better.

The plot was dumb, many moments were cringeworthy, the characters are all absolutely stupid, and a lot of the humor feels forced. Ugh. At least the teenager that I took to see the movie thought it was ok, so I guess I'm just too old for this stuff now.

A little predictable but with enough unexpected surprises to keep you entertained.

Passable sequel has enough clever lines and fun moments to be a fairly painless watch (even if the best stuff feels loaded towards the beginning) with the genuinely good natured and warm hearted spirit of the enterprise doing much to smooth over the almost non-existent plotting (with the villain defeated by a variation of 'We're All Gonna Get Laid'). Nice to see Brooks given a couple of funny lines, and Sandler again proves to be an endearing presence as Dracula.

Especially loved the ending.

Less heavy lessons than the second movie, but much less substance as well. It offers way less of a plot, or of jokes, or of something to keep adults entertained too. Relies too much on dancing and music. It can lose older children and only please younger children.

Had too many unecessary scenes and unfunny attempts at humour. I'm fairly certain my 10 year old sibling didn't even laugh more than 5 times during the whole film.

Vampire finds love in unlikely places :)))

Will watch just about anything with Kathryn Hahn in it. 6 cruise ships of 10 from me dawg.

The first one was fairly good in a stupid way, the second was average at best and this thing was just plain bad.

It's barely an improvement from the other two movies. I think it's about time to end this corny, predictable franchise.

Hotel Transylvania 3 offers nothing new nor exciting. The plot is predictable and cliché-ridden. The film is mildly entertaining, occasionally annoying, and ultimately pointless..

First two movies were much better.

It has its moments and is quite watchable, but def a step down compared to the previous two.

So I just saw Count Dracula browsing Tinder for monsters on his Sony Xperia smartphone. So... yeah ????

I saw the film in a theater filled exclusively with latinos. The Chupacabra joke killed. All 60 points are for "Bob."

My 3 year old son loves it, and that's about all the review I have for this one.

A trendy mixture of inclusive cliché and syrupy goop of “zinging”, a name in the imaginary world of monsters for the infantilised and infantilising idea of “instant and undeniable love without reason”, which was invented because presenting that idea in a human world has become increasingly unappetising today even for the most proletarianised, infantilised and goop-ridden group of audience.

Honestly, in my eyes it doesn't even deserve a review. The jokes are forced, the story line is boring, the soundtrack is uninteresting... It is the perfect example of the first movie in a series being decent, the second one bad, and the third one terrible. Even the kids hated this one.
