How to Deter a Robber

It plays with conventions sometimes in an endearing way. Marano is charming, like a Zoey Deutch lite, as Madison but her boyfriend isn't a compelling character. Mulkey was also great. It wasn't as funny as it could have been except for the two robbers, who could have gone off the rails but ended up being a good dynamic. Nice mash-up of romcom and home invasion.
