An action/comedy/musical about a Buddhist transvestite 7-11 clerk who moonlights as a secret agent. Weerasethakul is having some fun here, spoofing hokey Bollywood films and/or cheapo kung fu flicks. There are some chuckle-worthy moments, but it's really only good as a one-off type thing. He tries a little too hard to be zany. It's kind of like Woody Allen doing Everyone Says I Love You... you appreciate his need to get it out of his system, but it's not what you love him for.

11 temmuz 2011 & yonetmenin kucukken izledigi b filmlere saygi durusu icin cektigi (bence), buyuk laflar soyleyen, bilerek ucuz bir hikaye uzerine kurulmus bir senaryo, replikler ve oyuncuklara sahip bir b film. filmin renkleri, efektleri, kamera hareketleri bile ucuz. ilginc yani ise, b filmlerin absurdlugunu bolca barindirmasi. travesti bir ajan, bu ajanin erkek ikiz kardesi ile yasadigi ask, turk sinemasi ile yarisan tesadufler zinciri ve boktan dovus sahneleri. kesinlikle bana gore degil.
