Just because you can film it, doesn't mean you should. It feels like a middle school boy's attempt at making up what happened in the first Human Centipede to impress his friends.

Speaking as a long time supporter of sleazy exploitation cinema I don't usually get to say this but this film is just wrong. I guess you could say it tries to be about something but fails so horribly I kinda wish it was just honestly stupid. It's not really shocking because there's nothing at all to relate to. None of the characters seem human even on the most basic cardboard cut-out level. It's tasteless and appalling but trust me, not in any good way.

To my surprise, there were things to like in this movie. The black and white cinematography gives it a faux-amateur feeling that blends well with the voyeur-sadism it aims for. However, then there's the content: 90 minutes of the most vile shit you can tell pretty much all the thinking involved with this movie was used for. Instead of playing his audience like a piano, the way Hitchcock used to say, Tom Six wants to torture it. Those with masochistic tendencies may assent; for others, pass.

I wish I could go negative points..... I think this experience was more painful for me than for the 12 victims combined. This is filmmaking at some of its most horrible - not necessarily due to the content but more towards every single other thing. This movie makes the first Human Centipede look like Citizen Kane by comparison.

Much better than the first. Like the subversion and making fun of it's own audience etc, some atmospheric moments thanks to the eraserhead-influenced industrial soundscape and an interesting lead but loses it all when the centepedin' proper begins.

I definitely found this much more disgusting than the first film. In some ways, I thought this was better than the first film. I thought it might be quite interesting at first, with its metatextuality and its deliberately excessive nature (the sound design, in particular). But the majority of the film was repetitive and boring, with even less plot than the first one. Again, I can’t really recommend this, but I do applaud the writer/director for trying something a bit different, at least.

I do admire the audaciousness of Tom Six's ballsy give-no-shit-how-sick-the-world-thinks-I-am approach to filmmaking, but that doesn't necessarily mean the film itself is doing anything particularly interesting. Which it isn't. That said, the shitting scene was a delightful little bit of gross-out comedy.

Again a bizarre and marv choice for the lead. This piece worked somehow better than the first one, though I was not that sure the ending was that well thought. The best of the film was the first half, the preparing. The latter part did not shock that much anymore since it was mere a variation from the first movie. Although I'm anxious to wait how the trilogy will end.

I loved Laurence R. Harvey and the fact he didnt utter a single word throughout the whole movie. Very well done for an original horror movie! Black and white, extremely graphic, eery, and violent. I can understand the critics/haters, but if Horror is what you came for, horror is what you got.

Much funnier but also much more self-reflexive and self-consciously arty than the original, this sequel runs out of steam and good jokes about halfway through. It's shot and edited more than competently though and i get the feeling that director Tom Six is pretty damn clever. To be honest, I have no idea how to rate it, and that's a recommendation of sorts, I guess.

The build-up isn't bad, but by the end it's just an overlong joke about the squits. Questions of moral decency aside, I was mainly left wondering why everybody didn't just die from blunt trauma. I'll also never trust heavily asthmatic people again.

Story could of been better, the first half was pretty slow and the second half had me laughing a few times. Yes it's sick, yes it's disgusting, but I think it lacked suspense which made it feel like just a gore flick. If you're desensatised to gore then it's pretty boring - if you're squimish then you'll probably find it a real 'shocker'.

Only a fool would watch this sober, alone, or with the idea that it is actually a film. The Human Centipede II is Tom Six's way of getting people to call him a "filmmaker" because his honest attempts at screenwriting, directing, and every other aspect of filmmaking failed. There is no story, little dialogue, boring camerawork, and horrendous acting. However, there is poop, blood, and masturbation. At least the first film, when the concept was fresh, entertained slightly. Boring and idiotic.

tom six furthers his unnatural anal fixation, only this time upping the ante by adding more butts and staples instead of sutures. sure, it's more disgusting, and subsequently better. it, however, is still a far cry from being a good horror movie.

To sum it up: oh God, why? Curiosity killed the cat and curiosity might drive me to throwing up during a movie at some point. The notion alone is naturally disgusting and horrible. Technically, it's well made, I liked how the auditive elements were used. But in all honesty, it's way, way too gross. So gross in fact, that I did skip some scenes towards the end and that I gagged at some points. And never in my life had I wanted to see somebody jerk off with sandpaper. Seriously fucked up.

Have you been looking for a sick torture flick with the quality and self-importance of a shitty, pretentious student art film? Well have I got a movie for you! Trades the original's bore for gore, which isn't a redeeming factor, because it also does away with what little plot or logic there was, and replaces it annoying meta-awareness and colorized shit. Just a worthless film.

So this was pretty much the first film, except in black and white and even trying harder to shock with overuse of theatrical effects. When there is no underlying sense of dread or a reason to be scared, and with being desensitized from Hollywood gore, there was really nothing redeeming about this, apart from Laurence Harvey who fits perfectly for his role. Too bad he had to debut in this horrible piece of mockery of a horror film. Tom Six really is the worst writer to come along in years.

There is a quite bare plot line here, a rotund security guard fetishizes over the original film and aims to better his idol. I was looking for a film a while ago which represents self-indulgence, I suppose this fits that category. However, I also think the first film features in it's reiteration, purely to insult the audience. Which is what I gather is the main objective of the films so far. Featuring the original isn't as terrible as some of the gore, but still..

Shit me, this was bad. The black-and-white, use of random tones, awkward silences, and some characters reminded me of Eraserhead - if Eraserhead was made by a complete flailing fucking moron. The cinematography and dialogue are completely hilarious, and I can't tell if this is intentional or not. Being from the UK, I didn't see all of the gory bits, but what was there was totally gross I guess. It was entertaining, but it sucked. Laurence R. Harvey is probably the best actor in the world though

A clever response to the serous haters of the first film and anyone who thinks horror movies should be disregarded or banned (ergo making this film's predicament ironic). The shlock in this is better and more graphic than the first (in its uncut form), but the build-up is as usual terrible, with inane characters. The acting is woeful, but I guess when these folks have their faces right up against someone else's ass-crack, then I should reconsider that that's actually pretty marvellous acting.

Hilarious in every way. Whenever I'm feeling down I watch this movie. Perhaps that makes me sadistic, but there are few things funnier in this world than the mother. The two genuine positives I can mention are Laurence's performance and David Meadow's cinematography, and not because I've worked with them both on my own projects (maybe a bit.)

Avoided some of the problems of the first movie while introducing others, notably some weak scripting and performances during those (few) scenes featuring dialogue. Grimier and more unpleasant than the original, which makes it either better or worse depending upon your point of view. Protagonist was certainly memorable. Not awful but difficult to recommend. Saw the cut Australian version.

I watched this hoping it'd be the worst film ever made but, disappointingly, it's slightly better than the original. It's still shit but at least this time there's a genuinely eerie protagonist with a bit of a backstory to him. Again though, you're so bored you're desensitised to all the gross stuff happening on screen, with no drama or laughs to hold your interest. Unless the two cut minutes were God himself explaining the meaning of the universe, they wouldn't have saved this.
