Humongous

A decently smart heroine who occasionally makes good decisions is about the only thing this movie really has going for it, and sadly that isn't enough. The acting isn't great & the writing is no better, but what really kills this is that all we ever get of the big monster is brief glimpses & awfully lit full-body shots where you can hardly see him anyway. It also seems to pretty shamelessly rip off Friday Part 2 near the ending. A dull, run-of-the-mill slasher, there's nothing special to it.
