Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate

I'm not sure who the gimpy drug riddled side-kick knows to get such a line-heavy role but he doesn't know acting. His characters changes in intelligence & functionality weren't consistent more convenient. Other than that we have a schlocky & understandably campy production littered with Ru Paul in-jokes. Scenes involving Katya were redeeming as well as the 3 seconds Alaska was on camera.

Obviously very campy, but I've still seen camp done a lot better. A very weak, nonsensical story that relies too heavily on Bianca's insult comedy in order to fill the short runtime. Katya was a step above of the rest of the cast, and pretty much deserves a film of her own at this point.

Marginally better than Part 1, sequel is still abrasive and irritating save some amusing moments - the opening titles, Dratch's 'Bette Davis eyes' in the third act, and a guffaw-worthy SOPHIE'S CHOICE gag. Otherwise the film may have its heart in the right place, but suffers from arch and overstated humour, and thuddingly obvious political commentary. Plaut's strange, nonsensical character drags things down further whenever he is on-screen.
