Nicely done. Replace the setting of VICTORIAN HOUSE with A SOCIAL GATHERING and we might be talking about the most relatable character of all time.

A brilliant spin on the classic ghost story and one of the best DIY no-budget films I've seen. It's intensely clever and beautifully pulls influence from other horror classics. It's a shining example of pure independent filmmaking.

The disorienting immersiveness of Memento, the eeriness of The Shining, the mystery of The Sixth Sense, and the unease of The House of the Devil--H.P. Mendoza's film is still wholly unique and original.

I loved the third act. I would give this a much higher score but I was anticipating seeing this for nigh on 2 years so it was a bit of an anti-climax when I did see it

It becomes repetitive, but at the same time uses the opportunity to show off the directors capabilities. Very good for Mendoza's first movie, I am excited to see more stuff from him.

It's amazing to see what can be made from a Kickstater project and tiny (in comparison) budget.Better than most mainstream thrillers/horrors - unique ideas that were well executed.

Mendoza understands the importance of avoiding predictability in a horror movie. Exploring the ghost's point-of-view provides an excellent setting for this. Since there are no real ghosts that we know of, and no detailed agreed upon mythology, Mendoza has a fairly large freedom to imagine what the ghost's world should be like. You won't know what is coming, and Mendoza makes good use of this.

Between indie and experimental. I like those kinds of films but that particular it is exhaustingly repetitive.
