A Universal action film with John Wayne during his unsuccessful and short-lived non-western period. And he gets teamed with a monkey! You know how thinking back on Ronald Reagan's Hollywood career the moment that's remembered is when he teamed with Bonzo. That could have been how we remembered John Wayne! Well, probable not, for there would be no one that'll want to remember I Cover the War! (1937). A very uneventful exotic adventure with a wooden performance from Wayne.
