I Love You, Now Die: The Commonwealth v. Michelle Carter
In July 2014, 18-year-old Conrad Roy died by suicide in his car at a parking lot in Fairhaven, Mass. Police soon discovered a series of alarming text messages from his girlfriend, 17-year-old Michelle Carter, that seemed to encourage him to kill himself. This discovery sparked sensational headlines nationwide, leading to a trial that raised difficult questions about technology, social media and mental health, while asking if one person can be held responsible for the suicide of another. Not the best documentary, but the subject matter and the amazingly effective media portrayal at not telling the entire story, was pretty interesting (on top of the obvious legal dilemma),

A case worth looking into, but as much of it boils down to reading self-obsessed teenagers' text messages on screen it may try your patience. Attempts are made to make a more balanced argument - which does garner some sympathy for Carter - but is unlikely to sway your opinion of her forged in the first few minutes. Watchable, but at over two hours you expect a little more.

Interesting subject matter, told in an engaging if pretty straightforward way. This ultimately leaves the viewers without any clear answers or a sense of resolution, but I suppose that's life.

I’m a Masshole, so probably biased. The question of culpability enters some muddy waters in this case. Interestingly tragic.
